The Faith group

At St Patrick's RC Primary School, prayer is at the centre of our school life. Our Faith Group provides regular opportunities for our children to take part in collective worship, which encourages our children to be reflective and prayerful individuals.

The Faith Group also delivers special assemblies which take place termly. These assemblies are based on particular teachings from the Bible and on any holy days of obligation.

The Faith Group 2021-2022

I wanted to be in the Faith Group because I want to be a candle monitor.

I wanted to be in the Faith Group because I want to show others how to pray.

I wanted to join the Faith Group because I want to educate people to understand God.

I would like to be in the Faith Group because I would like to pray.

I wanted to be in the Faith Group because I like to pray and be holy to everyone.

I joined the Faith Group because I want to show everybody to be kind and generous.

I wanted to join the Faith Group because I want to learn more about Jesus and be respectful like Jesus.

The reason why I wanted to be in the Faith Group is because I want to show how to connect to God and help people to respect.

The Faith Group 2020 - 2021

I want to be in the Faith Group because I want to become closer to God and I want to show others how to pray.

I want to be in the Faith Group because I learned about God and to set up Lent.

I joined the Faith Group because I want to learn and teach other people about other faiths and religious people. I also want to be a great role model for my school and my friends.

I want to be a part of the Faith Group because I want to learn more about God and Jesus so I can be more giving.

I wanted to join the Faith Group so I can help people learn more about God and so I can get closer to God.

I want to be part of the Faith Group because I want to help others and encourage others to be the best that they can be. I also want to help others which are in a bad time. I think that we could come up with some ideas to help the poor for example everybody could give 20p or more.

I wanted to learn extra bits and bobs about Christianity. I can talk loudly and confidently in front of lots of people. I want to help people to learn more of Christianity for their own benefit.

I want to be in the Faith Group because I love God and everything he has done and now I want to embrace it and be more like God. I will contribute by helping people pray and help them out in tough times. I also think I’m good because I pray and I am kind to people. So that’s why I think I should be a part of the Faith Group.
